Keep Your Car Shine with Mobile Car Wash

It's every automobile owner's dream to ready his car shiny and visibly clean. However, it is not an easy duty especially when you consider the dust, mud, oil and other stains that may accumulate on a car's outdoor on a daily basis. Only mobile car wash can decent up every this mess and ready your automobile hunting brand new.

The traditional method of cleanup cars includes hand washing the exteriors and vacuuming the interiors of the vehicle. However, mobile car wash is a more complete cleanup process that is best definite out with caliber auto detailing systems same ambulatory steam pressure washers that have been specifically designed for delicate automotive surfaces.

The moderately-high pressure levels of these mobile car wash systems effectively serve in blasting off hardened mud, grease, oil, and other tough stains on the outdoor of cars without scratching or harming the surface in any way. In addition, these ambulatory automobile clean systems have a low line evaluate of 0.5 GPM - a safe yet amazingly effective evaluate for cleanup every vehicle surfaces. Best of all, these steam machines are capable of maintaining constant pressure and temperature levels during extended hours of operation.

Before pressure washers were organized purposely for organization detailing purposes, automobile owners had only two options to choose from - dry steam store and traditional pressure washers. However, both these classes of cleanup machines had individual problems and evidenced insufficient for vehicle cleanup purposes. Traditional pressure washers usually feature line rates up to 5 GPM or more that can cause substantial wastage of water. In addition, the extremity pressure of these pressure store - up to 3000 PSI and higher - in compounding with the broad line rates can actually cause scratches or alteration to the car's painted surfaces. As such, these machines have evidenced to be absolutely inappropriate for organization detailing applications.

Scratches and paint alteration is an issue even if you ingest regular dry steam store with very low pressure levels for car wash purposes. This is because using these dry steam store that feature only about 5 percent water requires continuous cleanup that can lead to paint damage. The pressure and temperature levels of this dry steam store can also begin to change a few minutes into operation. In addition, dry vapor is less powerful than ambulatory steam car wash systems when it comes to blasting away dirt from almost every surfaces of vehicles same glass, wheels, engines and exteriors, as these machines do not create dry vapor at enough pressure levels.

What really makes mobile steam car wash systems special is that they combine super-heated, wet steam of up to 330F with the broad pressure levels necessary to decent the automobile without causing harm. This exclusive permutation allows you to easily eliminate soil, dirt, mud, tree sap, oil, grease, bugs, tar and lots of other substances that can indulge the appearance of your vehicle. What is Diesel Exhaust Fluid? Who Needs It?

Heres a little quiz:

When have emissions rules ever produced better-running trucks?

If you answered, How about the 2008 Tier 2 or 2010 Clean Air Act standards, you can stop reading. You probably already know everything in this post.

For the rest of you, the answer is, When it became clear that diesel exhaust fluid, or DEF, was a key part of the solution to the emissions problem.

Everyone whos ever driven behind an older bus or semi belching smoke and diesel exhaust knows the problem: Diesel engines are dirty and smelly.

Thats the price weve paid for power and torque that gasoline engines cant equal.

DEF brings that price way down.

Heres why.

The Diesel Penalty

Combustion occurs in a gasoline engines cylinders when a spark ignites a mixture of fuel and air.

A diesel doesnt use a spark. Instead, it greatly compresses a leaner fuel-air mix.

Its the high degree of compression that causes the fuel to ignite.

Unfortunately, the compression-ignition process also produces emissions that are higher in dangerous nitrogen oxides (NO) and particulates.

And the Solution

To meet air quality standards calling for lower NO levels, manufacturers adopted an approach called selective catalytic reduction, or SCR.

With SCR, a small amount of fluid is sprayed into the exhaust stream. The chemical reaction that occurs converts NO emissions into harmless nitrogen and water.

In fact, what comes out of the tailpipe of a diesel using SCR may well be cleaner than what goes into the engine in the first place.

That was helpful in 2010. Its essential in 2017 when regulations call for a 90% reduction in allowable nitrogen oxides from exhaust.

The magic responsible for the reduction is the DEF: a 32.5% solution of ammonia in ionized water. And its a powerful (and somewhat misunderstood) solution to a serious problem.

What You Need to Know

DEF lives in a reservoir in your vehicle, which usually holds about five gallons.

In GMs heavy duty trucks, customers get about 1,000 miles per gallon of DEF. Heavy hauling or towing can increase the rate of DEF consumption just as it does with fuel.

In consumer vehicles, DEF can be consumed at a rate of roughly 2.5 gallons per 800 miles of driving.

The DEF tank must be kept at least partially full at all times. Many diesels wont run at more than 4-5 MPH if the tank runs dry. Others wont run at all.

Fortunately, it shouldnt be a problem, since most manufacturers provide a gauge, digital readout or low fluid level warning on the IP.

And keeping the tank topped off is easy and relatively inexpensive.

Manufacturers have built DEF service into their scheduled maintenance specs. So the fluid can be topped off when owners bring their vehicles in for scheduled service.

And DIY-ers can easily maintain DEF levels themselves, much as they would washer fluid. The fluid is readily available at dealerships, trucks stops and auto parts stores, usually at about $5/gallon.

Truck stops often have DEF pumps on their fuel islands.

The Upside

Maybe the biggest misperception about DEF is that its a drag on performance.

In fact, the opposite is the case. Manufacturers have tuned their diesels such that DEF actually optimizes combustion.

That means better fuel efficiency, more power, less engine wear and high reliability.

And there are other myths:

DEF evaporates quickly. (In fact, it evaporates very slowly.)

Its a drag on mileage. (In fact, it offers better mileage than most other emissions reductions systems. Manufacturers estimate a mileage bump of as much as 5%.)

Its toxic. (In fact, its less toxic than many of the other fluids used in a vehicle. And its been used for years in commercial trucking and the ag industry.)

Some Caveats

While DEF is good for newer engines with DEF systems, its useless in older diesels that lack such systems.

And DEF should never be added directly to fuel. Its corrosive and can reduce your fuel system to worthless scrap.

Thats why some manufacturers provide under-the-hood access to the system. Others provide a separate filler neck next to the fuel cap.

Either way, if you suspect your fuel has been contaminated with DEF, dont even turn the ignition to accessories, which can activate the fuel system.

Instead, have the vehicle towed, without starting, to a repair shop. Have them flush the fuel tank, then get back to enjoying the diesel power, torque, and reliability which DEF enables.

It's All in the Eyes Improving Road Safety

Road safety is a subject thats close to the hearts of anyone involved in haulage work. Any innovations or road projects are watched with close interest, so fleet managers and HGV drivers have welcomed the news of Highways England's implementation of a programme to install "intelligent" cat's eyes in one of the busiest junctions in the country.
The LED cat's eyes are already in place in the Hindhead Tunnel in Surrey, but the latest programme (which is part of a 3-million project to improve safety at the junction of three A roads and the M57 and M58 at Switch Island, Merseyside) is the first to see them installed at a motorway junction.

The Innovation

Designed by Clearview Intelligence, an Oxfordshire company, the so-called intelligent cat's eyes are connected to traffic lights via cables that run under the road and through an automatic controller unit. The studs light up when the traffic lights turn green to provide a clear indication of which lane drivers should follow as they accelerate in traffic.

Visible from up to 1,000 metres, the studs are far superior to the traditional version. They've already been proven to be highly successful in the reduction of drivers drifting between lanes when used in conjunction with traffic light changes (up to 50% in certain conditions), which, in turn, dramatically reduces the risk of accidents.

While the original concept of cat's eyes has been around since 1933 and was originally the brainchild of a Yorkshire man, the contemporary version is capitalising on new technology to take it into its next generation. Not only will it provide greater safety for all road users (not just those doing haulage work), but once its in place, the cat's eyes will give drivers a greater level of confidence when navigating this particularly difficult junction.

The Project

Used by more than 90,000 vehicles daily, Switch Island junction is one of the country's busiest. With an average of one collision every two weeks, it was a natural choice for the roll out of the first studs, which are used in conjunction with changing traffic lights. Highways England have plans to install around 170 of the intelligent cat's eyes in this upcoming project, along with a host of other upgrades that are designed to improve navigation, safety and traffic flow.

The junction supports a high volume of HGVs and commercial vehicles that carry out haulage work, and the installation of new and higher traffic lights (over 5 metres) will facilitate better vision for lorries and double-decker buses as they approach. Other upgrades include a shared cycle path, carriageway barriers and changes to road markings and layouts.

Funded by the UK government's 220-million congestion relief programme, and making use of close consultation with the Merseyside Police, work on the scheme commenced in February 2018, with an expected 12 months to completion.

Intelligent Innovation

A spokesperson for Highways England said that, along with the other planned improvements, the light-up studs would be a huge benefit to the thousands of drivers who navigate the junction at Switch Island every day. For the many HGV drivers who carry out haulage work through the junction, the scheme is set to improve journey times and significantly enhance their safety on the roads.

To start with, there are several insurance companies in the United States of America named after or at least known as Citizen Insurance. The state governments of Florida and Louisiana have their homeowner insurance companies called the Citizens Property Insurance Corporations. They are not-for-profit organizations that sell and underwrite homeowner insurance policies to the states residents. Another notable company is the Citizens Insurance Company of America based in Howell, Michigan. It is also commonly referred to as Citizens Insurance Michigan. Unlike the Citizens Insurance in Florida and Louisiana, this is a private company under the roof of The Hanover Insurance Group. It underwrites a broad range of insurance policies including home, auto, business, identity protection, and business insurance as well. The following information gives a brief overview of Citizens Insurance Company of America, and this is necessary just to avoid confusion.

Citizens Insurance Michigan was the first to offer auto insurance in Michigan in 1915. It has now developed into one of the biggest insurers in the state, underwriting property and casualty policies for personal and business insurance. Its parent company, The Hanover Group, has been in business since about 160 years ago, and it has more than a dozen of subsidiaries based in many different states. In the Midwest area, the company is a leading provider of both residential and commercial properties insurance.

Based on an independent review reported last May by A.M. Best Company, The Hanover Group and all its subsidiaries including Citizens Insurance Michigan, are rated A (excellent) for Financial Strength Rating and a for ICR (Issuer Credit Rating). Those ratings reflect the parent companys sound business profile thanks to diversified products. With its financial condition in great shape, all its subsidiaries benefit from financial leverage and flexibility as well.

The company offers the same types of coverage as the parent company. It divides the available coverage into two major categories including:

Personal Package which includes Auto, Home, Umbrella, Watercraft & Toys, Valuable Items, and Identity Protection insurance.
Business Package which offers Small Business, Mid-Sized Business, Risk Management, and Specialty Risks coverage.

Every state has its rules regulating property and casualty insurance, and all providers must comply with those rules. The good thing is that Citizens Insurance Michigan encourages you to work with independent agents instead of the captive ones, so you get a better rate for the best price depending on your circumstances. Independent agent works for you and acts like your representative while dealing with insurance company. The agent does the negotiating on your behalf to allow for a more affordable package with the more manageable payment option. Independent agent also makes sure that your insurance policy complies with Michigans laws.

Citizens Insurance Michigan Auto Package

Michigan is one of few states in the country to implement no-fault insurance regulation. This means your auto insurance company covers the cost of your injuries regardless of who is at fault in the event of an accident. Unlike liability coverage in most other states that provide a payout for the other party involved in an accident, no-fault insurance gives payout for the insured up to the limit of the policy. To make this possible, the state of Michigan requires all drivers to purchase PIP (Personal Injury Protection). Based on the information provided by the Department of Financial Services of Michigan, the insurance company will pay an unlimited amount of medical and rehabilitation expenses in case you or your family is injured in an accident. PIP also covers wage loss up to $20 per day for three years. It is possible to coordinate PIP with other health insurance to reduce the premium without eliminating the benefits of the maximum payout. You will need an independent agent to help you with all the required procedures. Another required coverage is Property Protection, which will pay up to $1 million if your car causes damages to other peoples cars or properties.

The main purpose of no-fault insurance is to eliminate the needs for the court process and immediately provide health expense payout. In any case, if a driver files a lawsuit against another driver, Residual Bodily Injury/Property Damage Liability (BI/PD) will kick in. It is also required coverage to help cover the cost of court processes.

Citizens Michigan Insurance with your independent agent will figure out the best coverage package for your needs without putting aside affordability consideration. Besides PIP, Property Protection, and BI/PD, Citizens Insurance also has optional coverage for examples Roadside Assistance, OEM Parts, Comprehensive, Collision, and Transportation Expense. Coverage is available in three different bundles including Platinum Auto Essential, Platinum Auto Advantage, and Platinum Auto Elite. Each bundle has distinct types of coverage, and your independent agent helps you choose best. Furthermore, the company offers an assortment of endorsement that can be added to any Platinum Auto bundle.

If you wish not to purchase auto coverage in a bundle, the company allows your independent agent to choose simpler coverage needs. This means you can customize the purchase to include only the coverage you want the most. The customized package can still include additional endorsements, so everything is flexible. Working with an independent agent also improves the likelihood of getting discounts. Auto Insurance by Citizens Insurance Michigan offers discounts such as Good Student, Anti-Theft Devices, Multi-Car, Accident Prevention Course, and more. The amount of maximum discount varies from state to state. Each discount has eligibility requirements, but your agent can give guidance regarding this advantage to reduce premium even more.

Is Zero Percent Interest on Business Loans a Myth

Before you ponder over the question above, you should be aware that there is no free lunch in this world! Everything comes at a price, and someone has to pay for it. In the present age of raging consumerism, the idea of zero percent financing is often bait used to lure potential buyers, whether the concerned item is an avant-garde appliance or a fabulous piece of furniture. Though this scheme apparently seems lucrative, the consumer is indirectly charged with an interest rate which he fails to realize. After all, no business can afford to offer charity and forgo profits, right? So if you are expecting absolutely zero percent interest on business loans, then you need to brace for a bit of disappointment. Whether the lender is a bank or a non-banking financial institution, you will be charged a certain interest rate. But the good news is that, currently, rates levied on business loans are highly competitive and hence attractive.

More on business loans

Are you planning to expand your business, buy some new equipment or a new factory, or need to purchase raw materials? Then a business loan which is customized to suit your needs and profile is your best bet for financing your dreams. Most banks and other financial lenders structure the loan according to the borrowers size, turnover, future financial projections and many other factors. So if you are a small business, you will be charged differently from a large entity, for the loan.

Now since more and more non-banking financial corporations are emerging to compete with banks as far as business loans are concerned, they are offering low interest rates, fast approvals, and flexible repayment tenures to make things easy for small or medium enterprises. And lets not forget that in todays scenario, small and medium businesses are coming together to form the backbone of the global economy. And with such loans, you can also expect other benefits like hassle-free documentation process, proactive and understanding customer service, and fair play and transparency. Moreover, if you have a good credit rating, you might not need to pledge any collateral or require a guarantor.

A look at very flexible loans

While we are on the topic of zero percent interest on business loans, lets take a look at some highly flexible loans which are offered by some leading NBFCs. These loans are structured to suit the exact cash flow pattern of your business and dont impose any pre-payment penalty. That is, you can pre-pay the loan with funds that are sitting idle with you, and not bear any interest charges for the same. Interest will be levied only on the loan amount you utilize. Up to 90% loan to value is provided against the security or collateral you offer in this case. Transactions for this loan can be executed online on the lenders portal, and part payment charges are also often nil.

Good to know

Generally, for any type of business loan, you need to be self-employed, or your organization has to be public, private or a proprietorship. You should be engaged in your present business for at least 3 years and have a decent credit score. Certain terms and conditions might also be present as far as profitability and minimum annual income are concerned. You will also need to submit balance sheets, profit and loss statements, income tax return statements, trade license or registration certificates, audited financial projections, and profiles of partners and directors. But please note that eligibility criteria might vary from one lending institution to another. And finally, loan disbursal is as per the discretion of the lender. But if you have all your documents in place and your business has potential, nothing will stop you from fulfilling your dreams.

Is Poor Mans Gold The Smart Mans Investment

Even through our questionably biased media where they have been downplaying the benefits of gold investment strategies and the rise of gold prices, you still hear a mumbling of its epic rise from $256 to $1385, a 441% gain in less than ten years.

But did you know that Silver has seen a 625% gain from $4 to $29 within the same time period?

Where many believe Gold Silver prices are still of tremendous value with their biggest rise ahead, history and some basic examining of the number's shows us Silver to be the best value for a number of reasons, and an affordable option for many to get into the game and prosper heavily.

Right now silver prices per ounce are in the $30 range.

Historical silver prices compared to historical gold prices trade at a ratio of approximately 16 to 1. Meaning that one ounce of gold would buy 16 ounces of silver.

Now, let's take a look at where gold and silver prices reside now, as well as some other factors which add more intrinsic value to the idea of investing in silver, the Poor Man's Gold.

As I write this post, the current gold price is at $1383 per ounce and the current silver price is at $29 per ounce. This means that 1 ounce of gold can buy you over 47 ounces of silver, or a 47 to 1 ratio...way above historical numbers.

Now, if things were to adjust right now to the 16 to 1 ratio which would see silver at $86 per ounce, although you were to invest at the current silver price at the $29 per ounce rate, than you would stand to make a 200% profit.

...And while we are currently looking at just the inception of possibly some of the highest inflationary rates ever known, even conservative estimates see gold prices reaching a $2000 per ounce price, which at a 16 to 1 ratio would see silver reaching a price of $125 per ounce, a %331 gain from current silver prices.

Another factor is based upon silver being a hedge against inflation, thus adding to its value.

I would like to share with you a sentiment by some that silver is not as good of a hedge against inflation due to the fact that it is an industrial metal. Although as you read, I think you will see why many others believe this reason alone provides even more value to silver as a hedge and investment opportunity.

A strong industrial demand; as mentioned earlier some believe this works against its safety to hedge against inflation, while others believe it supports it...each affecting its investment value.

Where all metals serve certain industrial needs, silver in fact has a higher and broader demand which many believe could only increase its value. Keep in mind the resiliency of many of the industries mentioned in challenging economic times such as green industries and lower price point categories, as well as those industries which are increasingly susceptible to attack such as housing and automotive.

Silver has uses in industries such as: photography, batteries, cd's, plasma TV's, solar technology, water purification devices and more.

Gold is more of a singular demand being used in electronics, copper used for housing and construction, and platinum used in the automotive industries.

Possible result: more uses = more needs = more value

And yes, where silver has also historically shown more volatility, history also shows that it has the ability to spring back where it is valued to be, and at the current low value prices, silver might just provide the perfect way for the average person to invest into the metals game.

What Is A Key Indicator And How Will It Impact My Business

Key Indicator, as referred to in this article, applies to both KPI: Key Performance Indicators and KSI: Key Strategic Indicators

Key Indicators allow you to track the health, growth and performance of your business. By looking at what values are important, then tracking and measuring them over time, you can determine exactly where you are in your progress towards your business development goals.

Most business owners believe they have a 'good feel' for the way their business is running. This is probably true but it is not really enough for your business to be successful. The Key Indicators in your business need to be developed and scheduled to track and measure your progress over time.

Key Indicators can be used to track both measurable and non measurable areas of your business. They can also be categorized as Performance (Key Performance Indicators) and Strategic (Key Strategic Indicators).

Measurable Key Indicators are values that you can actually measure or calculate by looking at the operations of your Business including the inputs and outputs. Typical examples include: - Net Profit, Growth Rates, Sales Person Calls and Production Rates etc.

Non Measurable Key Indicators are values where you establish the best case and worst case values and then assign a measurement value at a point in time using your best judgement. These values may not be able to be determined by looking at the operational metrics of your business. It may be useful for you to document exactly how to arrive at a value. Typical examples include:- Customer Satisfaction, Market Leadership and Employee Moral etc.

To begin tracking Key Indicators in your business:

1) Quantify your Business Development Goals.

2) Determine the areas that need tracking in order to reach your Business Development Goals.

3) Determine the range of values you will use to measure a Key Indicator, these may change as your Business Develops.

4) Develop a description for the Minimum and Maximum values that you will use to measure the Key Indicator (This will assist you when measuring the values).

5) Measure the current value of the Key Indicator.

6) Schedule a task for the regular measurement and evaluation of your progress with the Key Indicator so you can track where you are over time.

You should share the measurement and evaluation responsibilities of Key Indicators with employees and managers in your business. You will find that once you start using Key Indicators to set the goals and parameters of your business, you and your employees will become aligned and begin working towards achieving your Business Development Goals.

Be bold but realistic in setting your Business Development Goals. By defining and then measuring Key Indicators there is a good chance you will reach and exceed what you have set as the best case scenario.
